Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what information dineshbakshi.com ("the site"), operated by Eduwebtech Labs from India ("we", "us"), collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. You can read the study resources without creating an account or giving us any personal information.

Information we collect

When you browse. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested) for security and reliability. With your consent we also collect analytics and advertising data, described below.

When you email us. We receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them to reply.

When you join the newsletter. We collect your email address, the date and time you signed up and confirmed, the wording of the consent you agreed to, and a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address that we use only to limit spam and repeated sign-ups. We do not ask for your name or any other detail.

When you send a testimonial. We collect the name, role, location, title, message and rating you enter, your email address if you choose to give it (it is never shown publicly), your consent, and a scrambled version of your IP address to limit spam. A testimonial is shown on the site only after we review and approve it, and only with the details you provided for display.

We do not run user accounts for visitors, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

Newsletter

We send the newsletter only to people who asked for it. After you sign up we email you a confirmation link, and you are subscribed only once you click it ("double opt-in"). The newsletter tells you about new study resources and articles; we do not sell or rent the list. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time with the link in the confirmation email. When you unsubscribe we keep your email address on a suppression record so that we do not email you again by mistake. If you want it erased completely, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic operation. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example which pages are read and which countries visitors come from). Until you click Accept, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode that sets no analytics cookies, and if you click Reject it stays that way. We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search. The site shows advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Where a consent choice is required, ads are shown only if you click Accept, and you can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the page footer. You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How we use information

We use information to run and secure the site, respond to messages, send the newsletter you asked for, display approved testimonials, understand which resources are useful and improve them. We do not sell personal information. We do not send visitors' personal information to artificial-intelligence tools; any AI tools we use to help prepare study material work only on syllabus and subject content.

Who helps us handle information

We use these service providers, who process information on our behalf:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website;
  • Supabase, which hosts our database (newsletter list and testimonials), in India (Mumbai);
  • Brevo, which sends our emails and holds the newsletter mailing list;
  • Google (Analytics, Search Console and AdSense), as described above.

Some of these providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union, under their own privacy and security commitments. We share information only as needed to run the site and the newsletter, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep information

Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe (and then only the suppression record described above). Testimonials are kept while they are shown on the site, or until you ask us to remove them. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message. Hosting logs are kept by the provider for a short period.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK and EU GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent you gave (for example by unsubscribing or using "Cookie settings") at any time. Email hello@eduwebtech.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you have a complaint we cannot resolve, you may also contact the data protection authority in your country.

Children

The study resources are for students and teachers, and no personal information is needed to use them. The newsletter and testimonial forms are meant for people aged 18 and over, such as teachers, parents and adult learners; students under 18 should ask a parent or teacher to sign up for them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and security monitoring to protect the information we hold. No online service can be completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information.

Third-party links

The site links to other websites, including ThinkIGCSE. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
